We desperately need foster homes in Georgia and surrounding states.
Foster families provide a safe, loving, temporary home for a surrendered vizsla caring for the foster dog as you would your own dog. Foster families will feed, house, exercise, love, train and vet the dogs in their care. They provide rescue with an assessment of the foster dog's personality which helps our organization to identify the best type of permanent home for the dog.
Without an adequate number of foster homes, we can not continue to accept surrendered vizslas into rescue.
If you are interested in becoming a foster family, please complete the adoption application.
We need volunteers to interview prospective adoptive/foster families.
Each interview takes 60-90 minutes and can be conducted from anywhere. You'll be asked to provide feedback on your conversation to help inform the board on adoption/foster placement decisions. Training is provided.
We need home interviewers in Georgia and neighboring states. Home interviewers visit with potential adopters to evaluate the home environment. In addition to meeting with the family, home interviewers look for potential safety hazards present in the home and yard. Training provided.
We need volunteers to raise funds for Airsong's Angels. Please contact us if you are able to manage a fundraiser for us (e.g. 5k run/walk, jewlery sale, bake sale, dinner, etc.).
We'd be happy to help you find a way to volunteer that best suits your talents. Tell us about your talents and let us know how you'd like to help.
